Change user password

Employees are able to change their own password, but as an administrator, you may be asked to reset someone else's if they forget their password.

To change a user password:

  1. Click the Employees button on the Administration Overview diagram (Employee view).

    The Employee Administration screen appears.

  2. Click Search at the top-right of the screen.

    The Employee Search window appears.

  3. Use the search criteria defined in the Search for employee procedure to narrow the search for the employee you want.

    The Employee Administration screen re-appears, displaying the search results table.

  4. Click Grey key to the right of the employee.

    The Change Password window appears.

  5. For security reasons, type your administrator password in the top field.
  6. Enter the new password twice to confirm the password change.

    Note: The password must comply with the standard password rules.

  7. Click Save.
