Navigation

The default navigation used by Spend Dynamics displays the main menu items along the top of the page. All subsequent sub-menu items are displayed only after a main item is selected.

Main menu

The main menu allows you to navigate to various areas in Spend Dynamics:

Pinning pages

You can save your most commonly used pages for easy access by clicking a main menu item and clicking the pin next to one of the sub-menu items. The page name displays in the Pinned list on the right side of the screen. Clicking a pinned item immediately loads the page without you having to drill through the actual menu structure to locate it. Favourites are menu-specific, so your favourite reports, for example, are only displayed when you click the Reports main menu item.

User menu

The user menu is found at the top right of each page. It displays your first name beside a head-and-shoulders icon Black head and shoulders. Clicking this drop-down menu gives you access to your Image library, language setting, personal settings and online help. If you accessed the expense management area via the travel portal, the user menu also contains the Portal link, which will take you back to the travel portal.

If you have the Support - Key Administrator access right, the Ask a Question link displays in the menu bar. This link will log you directly in to the Customer Support portal, where you can enter your support requests.

Tablet navigation

If you are using a tablet or you reduce your browser page size significantly, the navigation structure changes. The main menu moves to the right side of the page and is accessed by clicking a new Three horizontal black lines icon.Your name also disappears from your user menu.
