Your home screen
Once you have successfully logged in to Spend Dynamics, you will be taken to your home screen.
The home screen is divided into three areas:
Quick actions
This area is located on the left of the home screen and provides you with quick access to important items.
- My actions. Depending on the features that are enabled for your company and the account types that are assigned to you, there can be up to 3 action buttons - Cash Expenses, Requisitions, and Expense Reports. These buttons allow you to create an expense report, cash expense, or requisition directly from the home screen.
- Attention required links. Links to areas of the solution that need your action. A counter next to each item shows the number of items (your own and your delegates') that need attention. The links depend on the account types assigned to you, and they only display when there is an action required, such as expenses to code or approve. You can download and view available statements for card accounts using the Statements link.
- Pinned items. Links to commonly used pages you have previously pinned for quick access.
Main
This area displays account information.
- Accounts. The top part of this area shows your own accounts and the bottom half of the screen shows your delegated accounts.
- Panels. There is one panel per card account which could be a summary of accounts, but only one each for other account types. For example, there may be multiple card panels, but only one each for cash expenses or requisitions.
- Panels for your own accounts have information on the number of Action Required items and the number of Pending Approval items. Where relevant, account balances are displayed by currency.
- The Action Required count links take you to the Expenses screen. Panels for card accounts also have links to the last two statements for the account. Clicking those links takes you to that statement period in the Accounts screen.
- Panels for delegated accounts have a link to the Accounts screen but display no counts or balances.
Note: A message appears in the main area if you don't have accounts assigned to you. Additionally, a useful tip may be displayed to help you use the system.
Company information
This area is located on the right of the home screen and is used by your administrator to provide company-specific information. Below this is the date of your last visit.
