Search for cards

The card search pane enable users to refine their search for card accounts using various criteria. These criteria provide a comprehensive way to narrow down search results and find specific cards efficiently.

To search for cards:

1. Select from the main menu.

   The Overview screen is displayed.

2. Select Cards from the left navigation pane.

   The card account search panel is displayed which enables you to search for card accounts.

3. Use the following search criteria fields to narrow your search results:
   • Cardholder. Enables users to search for cards using cardholder names and Account hierarchy filters.
   • Mapped employee. Enables users to search for cards using employee names, Employee ID, and Company unit filters.
   • First name. Text field for searching for a first name of a specific cardholder or mapped employee.
   • Last name. Text field for searching for a last name of a specific cardholder or mapped employee.
   • Employee ID. Text field or searching for an employee ID of a mapped employee.
   • Issuer. Restricts the search to the selected issuer. Default selection includes all the issuers.
   • Card number. Numeric field that restricts the search to cards with the same last four digits of the card number.
   • Status. Restricts the search to the selected account statuses. Default selection includes all the cards.
   • Company unit. Restricts the search to card accounts associated with one or more company units selected.
   • Physical or ghost cards. Restricts the search to card accounts with and/or without a plastic issued. Default selection includes all card types.
   • Card type. Restricts the search to one or more card types.
   • Company ID. Restricts the search to card accounts associated with one or more company IDs selected. This filter is displayed for companies with more than one company ID. Online card management users who have set up descriptions for thecompany IDs in the company profile area will see these descriptions displayed for selection. Otherwise, they will see the company IDs.
   • Billing account. Restricts the search to one or more billing card accounts. The billing accounts are cards used to pay the amounts due on all the cards linked to it.
   • Account hierarchy. Restricts the search to filter cards in one or more account hierarchies.
   • Billing account only. Once the toggle is enabled, it restricts the search to display all the billing card accounts of the company on the results screen.
   • Unmapped cards. Once the toggle is enabled, it restricts the search to display unmapped cards only on the results screen. If the toggle is left disabled, the search results display both mapped and unmapped cards.
   • Credit limit. Restricts the search to find cards with a credit limit of a specific amount range. Real-time credit limit information is displayed for card issuers with the integrated Card Management feature in Card Program Administration.

     Note: The credit limit amount range checks against information obtained from the processor instead of the VCF file. If no information from the processor is available due to the card not being refreshed, then the credit limit is based on the VCF file information. As long as information from the processor is available, that data is used.

   • Filter. This option lets you search for cards at 80% of its spend limit, unused cards (no transactions for 6 months), or expiring in 4 weeks.

     Note: Issuer, Card type, Billing account, and Account hierarchy filters are only displayed if the company has more than one of each. Physical or ghost cards filter is only available to card issuers with the integrated Card Management feature in Card Program Administration.

4. Select Search.

   The card search results are displayed.
   Note the following:

   • By default, only the first 200 matched cards are displayed. If there are more than 200 matched results, a message is displayed at the end of the 200th row. You must refine your search criteria to narrow your search results.
   • Search results display the most recently updated cards at the top of the list.
   • Results are grouped by billing accounts, then funding accounts (where applicable), followed by all other cards in descending order.
   • Real-time credit limit information is displayed, if available. Otherwise, information from the data file is displayed.
