Card controls are used to set a range of restrictions on a cardholder's usage, by either blocking certain transactions or placing rules, such as an amount limit, on the account. It also allows administrators to prevent employees from spending in a country or multiple countries or allows employees to have no restrictions at all. To enable and manage card controls, you must have the Admin – Maintain Account Controls access right.
Card controls can be enabled during the new card account application process, or managed via the View and Maintain Account Details window.
Depending upon the payment processor type, the applicable account controls display.
