Create data analysis report schedule

If you have the User Right - Enable Report Scheduling, you will be able to schedule your customized data analysis reports. Scheduled reports allow you to automatically run reports on an ongoing basis, without having to manually run the report each time it is required.

To create a schedule for a customized data analysis report:

  1. From the main menu, select Administration > Data Extract Management > Scheduling - Data Analysis.

    The Scheduling screen appears.

  2. Click Create Schedule at the bottom right of the screen.

    The Create Schedule screen appears.

  3. Type a name and description for your schedule.
  4. Select the customized data analysis report you want to schedule from the Template drop-down field.
  5. Select an execution date range for your report data.
  6. Define your schedule's frequency (how often you want the report to be run).

    If a daily frequency is selected, you can choose between weekdays only, all days, or define the days of the week. For a monthly frequency, you can define the month(s) and day of the month. For both options, you can define the schedule’s start and expiration dates.

    Note: If you leave Expiration Date blank, the schedule will expire after one year.

  7. Define the schedule's execution time (what time in the day the report should run) and your time zone.
  8. Click Save.

    When a customized data analysis report is generated according to the schedule, it will automatically be placed in the Outbox of the Vault. If personal vaults are enabled for your instance, it is placed in your personal vault. You will now be able to go to the Vault and download the file.

Note: The report will not be generated until all required data files are available. In some cases, the file for the last day of the reporting period may not arrive before the report's scheduled run date. If the report is not in the Outbox on the scheduled date, check again the following day.
