Assign card to profile

Note: If the group action function that allows you to update billing accounts through bulk updates has been disabled for your instance of Spend Dynamics, the White checkbox icons will not appear on the Accounts tab of the Account Management screen.

To assign a card (or several cards) to a profile:

  1. Click the Account Management menu item on the Administration Overview screen.

    The Account Management screen appears, defaulting to the Accounts tab.

  2. Click White checkbox beside the cards you want to assign to a profile. The icon displays a grey check Black check in white checkbox.
  3. Once all the cards you want to assign are selected, click the White check in grey circle icon at the bottom of the account list.

    The Action dialogue box appears.

  4. Select Add to Profile and the profile you want the selected cards to be assigned to.

    It is also possible to choose an Profile Effective From or Profile Effective Until date when adding an account to a profile. Note: The Profile Effective Until option should only be used if you are moving an account from one profile to another. When the selected date is reached, the card will be moved back to its original profile and the original control, credit limit and cash limit values will be applied.

  5. Click Save. The card(s) you have assigned will automatically adopt the characteristics of that profile.

Note: This functionality is not available for payable or control accounts.
